Kateri Belly Dance  
 
 
 
       Kateri is a belly dancer in high demand performing in the MA/MD/DC/VA areas.
     Kateri enchants audiences with her fluid style, athleticism, and dramatic personality. Her prop work includes sword (saber and scimitar), veil, double veil, cane, double cane, zills, fire balancing, bullwhip, tray, etc. She can currently be seen performing at Byblos Restaurant in Norwood, MA, Basha Cafe in Cambridge, MA, and the Middle East in Cambridge, MA. She performs regularly and has been seen with a variety of artists, troupes, and in a wide range of venues including Marrakesh Restaurant, Zeeba Lounge, Red Maple, The 5 Seasons, 3 Kings of Egypt, Tobacco Center, Desert Cafe, Raquy and the Cavemen, The 13th Floor, The Royal, Dangerously Delicious Pies, The Belvedere Baltimore Rhythm Festival, Mem Sahib, Telesma, etc.
     Kateri is also known for her talents as an actor and musician--skills that augment her dance performances.
     Kateri teaches bellydance privately and offers group classes through Egyptian Sun Productions at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD (Egyptian Sun's showreel by Boyang Li) and at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD. Fall 2011 she is teaching Egyptian Sun Intermediate class 5-7pm Saturdays on a rotating basis with Dori and Ouranitsa (Class Outlines can be found here). At HCC, she is teaching an Intermediate Class Thursdays from 6-8pm and a Beginning Bellydance Class Fridays 1-3pm (Syllabi, Class Outlines, Links, etc. may be found here).
